A New Christmas Dollie

I wanted to start the season with something special.

So I went to visit my friend, Maxie’s Etsy store, Prims and Annies and ordered a Christmas Raggedy Ann doll.

It was like Christmas morning opening the box.

She sent me the sweet dollie and a cute Snowman Icicle, too.

She always includes a pretty card and tags.

I’m ready for the holidays now and having fun decorating this week.

Are you decorating this week?

Do you need a new dollie? ; )

Hi Miss Lavender Dreams,

Is Wendy okay with having a new dolly in the house? I mean, now you have to share your affection with the two of them.

Wendy, you can always hide her in the closet. (o:

All decorated here (thank goodness, Mom is a real bear when she is decorating and tired). Now it's all fun and baking and wrapping prezzies and snooping around. Shh, that's our little secret.

Hugs,
Prudence ♥

I must visit her "store." I love Ragedy Ann and Andy; I made them for my girls when they were little. Holly Hobby was another doll I sewed for them, so this brings back such sweet memories. Happy Holiday and it's really beginning to look a lot like Christmas at your house, XOXO

What a cute decorating companion! I'm planning to make a cute ragdoll of some sort for my brand new (and first) grandbaby, Hannah.

I've got my inside decorations up and waiting on my sweet hubby to put up the outside lights.

Love the little raggedy doll. The minute her photo popped up on my monitor I started grinning.
I'm still trying to get everything done at once and feel like I'm getting nowhere fast. Love the new holiday look you have going on here.

I actually did need a dolly earlier in the week when John's little great-grand was visiting. A teddy bear had to fill in instead. Your little dolly is very cute!

I recocnize those two golden books on the piano. My kids grew up with golden books. They were 25 cents at the grocery store. If the kids were well behaved...they could pick one out. We had a whole collection of them. They were passed on to the cousins later on. My favorite was The Pokey Little Puppy.
Your doll is precious.

MERCY, NO! Well, that's my first response but I will always and ever have room for just one more dolly. And now I have a little granddaughter that is just like me and from infancy has loved dolls. Even as an infant she "Oooohed" and "aaaaahed" through the doll section of the toy store. It's so neat to see her face when I send her a new doll!

One year for Christmas I made a rag doll for my mother...because when she was young she had no dolls. I now have that doll. I call her Maddie...that was my mother's name. I love the package you received. It's so nice to get some goodies. xo, Susie

Adorable doll! Not decorating this weekend. Have the main floor done. Will do the basement later this month before our family comes over.

What an expressive raggedy dollie. I quickly checked to see if she had a gingerbread dollie. I have all six of my trees up and the decorating is done. Now I can sit back and enjoy it. While I'm writing I can lift my eyes and see the grandchildren's snowman tree. It always makes me smile. Love the golden books on your piano!

So sweet. Do you collect Raggedy Ann's and Andy's?

I love her. I have a soft spot for handmade dolls. I also make them.
You have been asking me to show more of my bedroom. The first picture in my post today(sailing)
is of a grouping of things on my dresser.
