Barn Charm Monday

This is a wonderful old barn we saw in Georgia on our trip from NC to Florida last week.

It was a fly by but I still managed to get 2 views of it!

I don't know why, but things always look better in Georgia. I love the old barns, buildings and cotton patches. Maxie said we needed to get you up to Moultrie next year and I agree!

How good for you to get that barn for it doesn't look as if it will be there for long. What a great one it is, too.

I love tattered old barns. Isn't it wonderful that so many of them are allowed to stand tall and proud?

You did very well capturing that barn from the car! My mother loves to feature barns in her oil paintings.

I love old barns too and am lucky enough to have some paintings, done by mother, of barns in Maryland that she came across. One, particularly being my grandfather's just before a storm rolled in. God Bless our Veterans, XOXO

Diane, those two photos of the barn are just great! I love old barns, and on my trip to NY last summer when I wasn't driving I was taking endless photos of those charms. Thanks for sharing... :)

I wonder how old it is Diane. It looks so wonderfully fragile, yet must be strong to have withstood the test of time! Love it! Ann

Yes, I have a soft spot in my heart for old barns. Wish we could rescue them all. At least we're rescuing them in photographs to show generations to come. Thanks, Diane.♥

She's a little worse for wear but my she was once a beauty! I like the descending roofs. It looks like it's still holding some hay too.

Welcome to Barn Charm

Look at that ol charmer! I love the 3 layers of rusty roof & that old weathered barn wood! WoW! What a find... may just be this poor ol barn's last spotlight, too.

Thank you so much for joining this week's Barn Charm =)
