Gratitude Mosaic Monday

It’s been a heart breaking week for so many and it’s hard to know what to post. I am keeping everyone that is suffering from the terrible storm in my prayers. We have powerful hurricanes hit Florida so we know how bad it can be. When I saw that my friend, Linda from AL A Carte was doing a gratitude post every day this month I knew that was the answer. I won’t be able to do one every day but I would like to do a few when I can.

(we saw this on the beach on one of our walks…this is for you, Linda)

We had the blessing of spending a few days on Jekyll Island on our way back to Florida.

I haven’t been on the computer for a few days so I’ll enjoy catching up with everyone these next few days. Oh and I might want to catch up on laundry, too while I blog! heehee!

I am grateful for all of my blog buddies, a few days on a fabulous island…and a washing machine! AND for a husband that brings me a rose from the flower bed when we get home.

You're a sweetie, Diane. Thanks for your prayers. We need them coming as there is a Nor'Easter due to hit on Wednesday into Thursday. We just get EVERY kind of crappy weather here, tropical, Nor'Easters, blizzards, heat and humidity, an occasional tornado. Time to relocate :/ xo

Probably by now you've learned that Mary has been without power all week (NJ) and won't be doing Mosaic Monday. It is incredible the number of people affected by this awful storm.

Lovely writing in the sand...

glad you're home safe and sound, so much devastation all over the United States and Canada, very scary! We had a wee bit of damage here but nothing compared to southern ontario, or the U.S

Love the message on the beach. We have a family tradition when we take the grandchildren on trips, we always write "Tulsa" in the sand and take photos of it to remind us of the trip.

Gratitude is something we all need more of.

I love your beach photos and red rose, Diane.

Thank you for all your kind words of support for the Hurrican Sandy victims. I have been voluteering at a temporary shelter in Brooklyn for people that lost their homes. It is wonderful to see how many people are helping and donating goods that are needed.

It has been a heartbreaking week seeing all the devastation and suffering brought on by hurricane Sandy. Having been without power for over a week due to a hurricane (or two) in the past, I can certainly empathize with them. My heart goes out to them all.

Nice rose! You sure do have a sweet hubby!
